GlobalSim was selected as the lead simulation integrator of a real life simulation training project, dubbed "Battle Stations 21," conceived by senior Navy leadership. Input from longtime, seasoned sailors resulted in scenarios that mimic real-life emergency events that new recruits will likely encounter at sea such as flooded compartments, firefighting, life saving and mass casualties. The facility is designed for expansion to accommodate additional future scenarios.

Battle Stations 21 Fire Fighting
and built to replicate a DDG 21 Arleigh Burke Class destroyer, the immersive technologies utilized in the system can easily be adapted to a wide variety of other training applications.
Any situation where the occurrence of a live event is impractical or impossible to duplicate without endangering human life, expensive equipment and facilities is a good candidate for GlobalSim's event-based simulation. GlobalSim can simulate the operations of critical facilities that may be the target of enemy/terrorist attack, subject to a natural disaster, power loss, or critical equipment failures. This simulation trains operators on preemptive control, minimizing loss and recovery efforts.
Our expertise in immersive simulation is invaluable if your training needs require any of the following:
- Design/build of the training system facility
- Scalable (simulate certain operations now, add interactive operations later)
- Modular
- Physical customization of both general and specific training arenas
- Realistic facades
- Story-driven situation
- Simulation of both normal and abnormal atmospheric physical effects including:
- Ambient temperature
- Water effects
- Fire effects
- Vibrations
- Odors
- Sounds
- Smoke
- Lighting
- Animated props
- High def projection
- A sophisticated trainer management system that provides:
- Integrated system control
- Resource scheduling and management
- Student performance monitoring, scoring, and reporting
- Maintenance scheduling
