GlobalSim understands simulation. We are a certified small business that has built a successful company based on the premise that simulation training is the most effective and efficient method available to train operators of dangerous, complex, or expensive equipment. Over the past 12 years, GlobalSim has built an extensive resume in the design and development of advanced, man-in-the-loop aircraft and maritime training simulators for the US Military and Government organizations.

The following list provides a rèsumè of select programs we have successfully implemented:

Aircraft Simulation Technology Programs

  • UNITED STATES NAVY SH-2G Weapon System Trainers (WST) - As the prime contractor we were responsible for the entire design, development, integration, and delivery of the new helicopter training systems.
  • UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS CH-46E/ HH-46D Operational Flight Trainers (OFT) - As the prime contractor we designed, developed, and integrated numerous upgrades to the helicopter training systems.
  • UNITED STATES NAVY SH-2F Weapon System Trainers (WST) - As the prime contractor we integrated a new computational system (rehost), IOS subsystems, and upgraded the aerodynamic flight models to correct deficiencies in the helicopter training systems.
  • UNITED STATES AIR FORCE CH-3E/HH-53C Operational Flight Trainers (OFT) - As the prime contractor we integrated a new computational system (rehost) and IOS subsystems for the helicopter training systems.
  • UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS CH-53D/E Operational Flight Trainers (OFT) - As the primary subcontractor we designed, developed, and integrated numerous upgrades to the helicopter training systems.
  • UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS AH-1W Weapon System Trainers (WST) - As a primary subcontractor we integrated a new visual image generator subsystem, a sophisticated smart threat subsystem (Including accurate models for acquisition, deployment, and fly-outs), and corrected numerous deficiencies in the aerodynamic flight models of the helicopter training systems.
  • UNITED STATES COAST GUARD HH-52A/HH-3F Operational Flight Trainers (OFT)- As the prime contractor we integrated a new computational system (rehost), IOS subsystems, and upgraded the aerodynamic flight models to correct numerous deficiencies in the helicopter training systems.
  • UNITED STATES NAVY SH-60B Weapon System Trainers (WST). As the prime contractor we provided data collection, data analysis, modeling, integration/ installation, and tuning of new DFCLSs.   We also implemented numerous software and hardware modifications to maintain aircraft/trainer concurrency for the helicopter training systems.
  • UNITED STATES NAVY SH-60F Weapon System Trainers (WST). As the prime contractor we provided the integration/installation and tuning of new DFCLS. We also implemented numerous software and hardware modifications to maintain aircraft/trainer concurrency for the helicopter training systems.
  • UNITED STATES NAVY Undergraduate Naval Flight Officers (UNFO) Aviation Communication/Navigation Trainer - As the prime contractor we designed, developed, integrated, and delivered the new training system.
  • UNITED STATES NAVY S-3B Weapon System Trainers (WST) - As the prime contractor we performed numerous software and hardware modifications to maintain aircraft/trainer concurrency.
  • UNITED STATES AIR FORCE Combined
     Altitude Radar Altimeter (CARA) Integration Program - As the prime contractor we designed, developed and integrated the CARA module into 72 different training systems for 14 different aircraft.
  • UNITED STATES AIR FORCE F-16 C/D Software Test Station Development Program - As a primary subcontractor we supported the design and implementation of multiple avionics subsystems
  • UNITED STATES AIR FORCE B-52 Electronic Warfare Simulators (EWS) - As the prime contractor we provided modeling and integration of the AN/ALQ-172 Electronic Counter Measures system, including the Control Indicator (CI), Display Unit (DU), and Antenna Select (AS) into the training system.
  • UNITED STATES AIR FORCE C-141 Operational Flight Trainers (OFT) - As a primary subcontractor we provided modeling and integration of the All Weather Flight Control System (AWFCS)
  • UNITED STATES AIR FORCE F-15D/E Seat * Canopy Maintenance Trainer (SCMT) - As the prime contractor we designed, developed, integrated, and delivered three (3) SCMT systems.
  • UNITED STATES NAVY F-14D Weapon System Trainers (WST) - As a primary subcontractor we integrated several new avionics systems into the trainer configuration.

In addition to the above programs, we have integrated many different avionics packages into numerous different training systems. These include the following:

  • AN/ASN-159 Tactical Navigation Computer, Digital Display Indicator, Control Indicator and Display Control
  • AN/UYS-503 Acoustic Data Processor and Multi-Function Digital Display Indicator
  • AN/ALR-66 Electronic Surveillance Monitor Control Indicator
  • AN/ARC-182 VHF Communications Control Indicator
  • AN/ARN-118 TACAN Control Indicator
  • AN/APR-39 Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) control Indicator and Display
  • AN/AAR-47 Missile Warning System Control Indicator and Display
  • AN/ALQ-153 Infrared Countermeasures System Control Indicator
  • AN/ASQ-219 Control Display System (CDS), including 4 Display Units, 2 Display Avionics Management Units, and a Display Processing Unit
  • AN/ASN-167 Ground Collision Avoidance System (GCAS)
  • Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS), including the WST Autopilot, Flight Director, Auto Throttle, and Stability Augmentation System (SAS)
  • Fuel Savings Advisory System (FSAS)
