GLOBALSIM AWARDED CONTRACT FOR ADVANCED MARITIME SIMULATOR FOR SRI LANKA PORT AUTHORITY

Draper, Utah - June 26, 2007 - GlobalSim, the world leader in simulation training systems for the crane and material handling market, today announced the award of a new contract with the Sri Lanka Port Authority (SLPA) for the purchase of a ML4000 advanced training simulator with integrated models for both a Ship-to-Shore (STS) Crane and Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) Crane.

SLPA controls the ports and terminals located in the Colombo area and is responsible for the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of policies, improvements, development of shipping services, and overall supervision of the ports. Training of new and experienced operators is a critical component of port operations and growth. Through and International Tender Process, GlobalSim was awarded a contract to provide the new training system. The purchase of an ML4000 Crane Training System with both an IHI STS crane model and IHI RTG crane model provides them the tools necessary to effectively meet their training requirements.
