The ML5000 Straddle Carrier trainer includes the following features:

Student Station

• Fully enclosed student cabin and seat
• Six (6) degree-of-freedom motion system (pitch, roll, yaw, heave, lateral/slew, longitudinal/surge)
• Six (6) channel visual system using large format LCD's (270H x 150V field of view with 2 channels in the floor for viewing operations under the unit)
• Straddle Carrier control module with steering wheel, joysticks, indicators, switches and pedals

Instructor Station

• Mimic Display to provide dynamic simulator control to monitor all student controls
• Dynamic Situational Display (SiD) to monitor trainer operation in the simulated world
• Instructor Joystick to permit placement of the SiD eye point anywhere in the simulated world
• Emergency Power-Off control
• Intercom to permit direct conversation with student and simulate dispatch commands
• Printer to permit hard output of student records 
• Includes all executable software for both scenario creation and trainer operation
