GlobalSimが米陸軍向けのカスタムクレーンシミュレーターをインストール

GlobalSim recently completed a project for US Army that included the installation of multiple crane simulators at a training complex in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. “Our team has been hard at work on this project for several months” says GlobalSim CEO Jonathan McCurdy. “We partnered with the crane manufacturer – the result is an incredibly accurate simulator that mimics the real life equipment in almost every way.” Each simulator is designed to model the Type II Heavy Crane.  The system includes controls and panels sourced directly from the OEM and a 3 DOF motion platform.  A short video featuring the new crane simulators has been published on YouTube: 「焦点はリアリズムにあります」と、プロジェクトに深く関わったGlobalSimのアートディレクターであるTonyMorrillは述べています。 「そのため、現実の世界では決して試したくない障害やその他の種類の問題をシミュレートできます。実際にクレーンに入れずに、（生徒を）クレーンに入れたいのです。」
