GlobalSim Inc. had a successful showing at the TOC Europe Conference in Rotterdam while occured June 13-15. Following the conference, GlobalSim’s implementation team stayed in the Netherlands to install the Full Mission simulator at ECT Hutchison.
“We had a great showing at TOC in Rotterdam” remarks GlobalSim’s Vice President, Brad Ball. “This is a big conference for Terminal Operators and those in the Port industry. This is the second year-in-a-row that we’ve been able to exhibit our Full Mission System. We always get great feedback from training mangers and those who come to demonstrate the system. This year, we had some trainers and managers at ECT Hutchison come to see the system. The very next week, it was installed at their new training facility.”The simulator is a full cabin design and features a 3-DOF motion base under the entire platform. An Instructor Station and a virtual reality scenario editor are also included as part of the system. ECT will use the Full Mission simulator for STS crane training.
Mr. Ball finishes, “We’re very confident this system will have a great impact on the training at ECT as they fully utilize this system to enhance their operator training.”
