GlobalSim Full Mission Simulator

Full Mission Simulator

The GlobalSim Full Mission is a premium simulator designed to train students on multiple types of equipment. The system is equipped with eight 65-inch 4K displays, an operator chair, and authentic controls which are built within an enclosed cabin. A sound system is integrated into the simulators to replicate sounds associated with the operation of actual equipment. The 3/4 enclosed cabin environment allows the student to focus without distractions during a training session.

The Industry Standard for a Premium Level Simulators.

OEM Controls

Simulator controls are designed with joysticks, buttons, and switches to match the real equipment. Alarm and indicator panels are also included on some crane models. In many cases, materials are sourced from the OEM providers.

On the underside of each set of controls are fasteners and clamps to allow for interchangeability of controls. Changing controls sets and launching a new software model on a GlobalSim simulator takes very little time (typically less than 5 minutes).

Motion Base

A 3-DOF Motion Base features movements in pitch, roll and heave. The motion system moves the entire cabin (including all the displays), not just the chair, making the motion effects accurate and true-to-life.

The motion system uses commercial electric actuators to provide realistic motion cues in the longitudinal (trolley, acceleration, deceleration, and driving), lateral (gantry and turning), and pitch (rail gap vibrations, heavy lift depressions, acceleration, deceleration, and driving) axes.

Integrated Instructor Station

The Instructor Station is a key component of the training simulator and acts as a hub whereby instructors, trainers, and observers can monitor the actions of a student on the simulator. The instructor can create scenarios, change settings, access the student database, and completely control the training environment surrounding the simulator.

Typically, the instructor's station is set up on a desk next to the simulator or in an adjacent room. The Instructor Station includes a desk, a printer for quickly printing reports and statistics, and four 32-inch flat-screen displays networked with the simulator.

Configure & Customize

The Full Mission simulator system can be used to simulate most of the available software models for ports, military, industrial,  manufacturing, and construction equipment operator training. Additionally, GlobalSim is accustomed to customizing arenas for clients in addition to controls and training scenarios.
