GlobalSim Contracts with US Navy for Advanced Simulators

GlobalSim is pleased to announce it has recently contracted with the US Navy to supply Advanced simulators to a naval training facility on the east coast of the United States.  “We’re pleased to be working on this project with the US Navy”, remarks Brad Ball, GlobalSim’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We’ve delivered many systems to the US Navy in the past, and this project has been in the works for sometime. We’re please to have been awarded the contract and have now finalized the details.”

While many specifics of the project aren’t available for public disclosure, GlobalSim confirmed the US Navy will be receiving multiple Advanced simulators (GlobalSim’s flagship system) featuring a full cabin on a 6-DOF motion base. The simulators will also feature the latest virtual reality technology. Once installed, they will train naval operators on multiple different types of cranes and equipment. It is expected the systems will be assembled and installed in late 2022 / early 2023.
