GlobalSim is pleased to introduce, the Virtual Reality Bridge Crane Simulator that has been under development for the past year. Recognized as the industry leader in crane simulators and training systems, GlobalSim has continued to masterfully incorporate the latest mixed reality technology with their new training systems for ports, construction and more. Virtual reality is receiving a lot of press because of its popularity in the gaming world, but GlobalSim has raised the standard by introducing their latest training system: VR Bridge Crane Simulator.

The VR industrial crane is developed with performance metrics matching the real bridge and overhead cranes. “Our software engineers have worked tirelessly on the VR industrial cranes” says Jonathan McCurdy, CEO and President of GlobalSim. “Once you put on the headset and experience the VR simulator, you realize how this technology can be used to provide a superior training experience.”

The system is configured to run a standard bridge crane in a virtual environment and can be set up in a typical office or classroom-type environment. It delivers effective, hands-on training, featuring high-quality visual modeling and authentic hardware controls for advanced realism. The training system comes with many standard features including a certification course integrated in the software and GlobalSim’s exclusive scenario editor.
